Breaking: NSF, Delta 2022 End’s: 2, 652 medals won, Team Kano lead’s the north

The total of 2,652 medals were won at the just ended 21st edition of the National Sports Festival , NSF tagged Delta 2022.
The final medals table released by the chairman games services by 4pm last Saturday in the outline of the medals break down said, 791 gold, 790 silver and 1,071bronze medals were won .
Team Delta were crowned overall winners of the fiesta with 320 gold medals to win the fiesta back to back with 200 silver, 128 bronze total 648 medals.
Occupying second position on the log is Team Bayelsa, on 139 gold, 115 silver, 90 bronze total 337 medals.
Third place on the Delta 2022 final medals table is Team Edo with 78 gold, 94 silver, 167 bronze total 339 medals.
Team Zamfara sit comfortably at the bottom of the league with zero gold, silver and bronze.
The mini Olympic featured 36 states of the federation and FCT Abuja, from 28th November to 10th December 2022.
Team Kano up its 10th place position at the last edition in 2021 in Edo with a new 7th place finish with 19 gold, 27 silver, 30 bronze, total 76 medals.
The Executive Chairman, Kano state Sports Commission, KSSC, Dr Ibrahim Galadima described the feat as a parting gift to the state governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, for his support to the team.
