AFCON: Super Eagles captain , Ahmed Musa announce his retirement

The skipper of Nigeria’s Super Eagles , Ahmed Musa has announced that the 33rd edition of the African Cup of Nations would be his last appearance at Africa’s biggest football fiesta.
Ahmed told sports writers in Cameroon that he has informed his Super Eagles peers about his decision to hang his AFCON boot.
In his words “ I have spoken to the boys, this is going to be my last AFCON, I want them to win the trophy for me.
“insha Allah , we will win the trophy, my team mates understand what it means to win the cup.”
Musa disclosed that, he has appealed to his senior national team mates to clinch the 33rd edition of AFCON as a parting gift to him.
