Newly  relegated    Nigeria Professional Football League , NPFL side Jigawa Golden Stars has accused League Management Company, LMC  and top echelon of Nigeria Referees Association, NRA of match fixing ,  describing  the country\s top most club side  football competition as “drama”.

The coordinator  Jigawa   Golden Stars fc , Abuhuraira Dahiru  reacting, after his   side was sent packing from  Nigeria’s  premier league competition  said “ Nigerian league  has become  a drama,  the information reaching us from the LMC states  that  arrangements had already been concluded and reached  by the LMC  on  those clubs  that will  qualify  for  CAF champions league and confederation cup.

“  Matches  were  already planned on how they will be won and loss, this was done  by top officials, on the last day of the league , they planned it that Nassarawa United fc  is going to lose against Abia. Pillars is going to lose against Heartland. And Rivers United fc  is going to lose against Sunshine fc of Akure.

“ They also planned it that Eyimba fc  is going to win in Dakada so they already planned this and the plan to review our case and reverse the earlier decision  then to  now give Rivers United  our point to help Rivers United fc  to a get   continental ticket, they had all this plan in their kitty that was why  they rewarded  Nassarawa United fc  with Aiteo cup by all means..

In his weighty allegations Abuhuraira , who claimed he could substantiate  his allegations further alleged that “what  make it more annoying  happened  in Lagos at  Agege stadium during our last match,  I’m close to Tade Azzez not knowing I knew who he was , during half time , when he was saying  what is  this referees waiting for up till now   no goal against Jigawa fc,  he then walked  to the  dressing room before he then came out to the field to  collect an award from  the  home Team.

“ In the first half of game in  the Match Day  38 which was our last game it was initially 0-0  at half time , we witnessed very good officiating from the referees then later the officiating pattern change in the second half.

“ It pains a lot ,  also that we were on the field playing our last game of the season, when  information reached us that  our   three points have been deducted  and given to Rivers   United fc , is this not all drama .” Abuhuraira queried.
