Head coach of South African side, Orlando Pirates, Mandla Ncikazi has boasted that they are resilient in their quest to win the TotalEnergies Confedration Cup to boost national pride.
Speaking with sports writers in pre match press confere held nce in Uyo, Akwaibom, Mandla said his lads have travelled wide across the continent to reach the final, noting that they would not surrender their hard work at this crucial level in the competition.
He note that his team, Friday night will be filing out against a highly technical north African side, admitting that their CAFCC foes will be a hard nut to crack, he though express beliefs that the table will be turned against their north African foes.
He said “we have played against north Africans, the Morocan teams are different in style, we are well prepared, we know their strength and we also know their weaknesses.
“most important is for us is to play our game as a South African team they are very technical, but your advantage can be your disadvantage, we are going to capitalize on our individual brilliance to turn the tides against them.”
Orlando Pirates will today, Friday file out against RS Berkane of Morrroco, 8pm local time at the Godswill Akpabio international stadium in Uyo, Akwaibom state.
