Ekeji’s mother begins final journey

The mother of former Director-General of the defunct National Sports Commission, Chief (Dr.) Patrick Ekeji, late Ezinne Francisca Eregbuonyeokoro Ekeji, aged 94, begins her final journey to her maker Thursday.
According to Chief Ekeji, the body of his mother, who passed on last August, would be interred at the Ekeji compound in Umuemeri Ogwu-Nguru, Aboh Mbaise, Imo state after a funeral mass at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Ogbor-Nguru.
“She was a devout Catholic, mother, grand mother and great grand mother who was at peace with all those who came across her in her life time”, Chief Ekeji, the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Imo state governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma stressed.
Ezinne Francisca is survived by Chief Patrick, Mr Alex and many other children, grandchildren and great grandchildren who are left to mourn her.
