Former Nigerian League player, Sabo Captain, dies, during football training session in Kano

Veteran footballer, Sabo Suleiman a.k.a Sabo captain, on Sunday morning died , at Kano Pillars stadium , during Kano Ex-Footballers football training sessions.
The deceased in his active football days laced his boot for Dantata United and Jigawa Golden Stars.
According to eye witness, who spoke to our reporter said late Sabo arrived Kano Pillars stadium for the banal weekend football sessions, he participated in all the shake up activities, suddenly “ he then complained of to someone beside him of slight stomach pains, he bent down, only to discovered that he has stopped breathing.”
The Public Relations Officer, Kano Ex-Footballers Association, Chidi Obasi, who confirmed the demise of the deceased said “ tragedy struck , this morning , when Kano Ex –Footballers player , Sabo Captain fell and died, while training at Kano Pillars stadium.
Obasi confirmed that , late Sabo was laid to rest at Ahmadiyya Muslim burial ground in accordance with Islamic Injunctions.
