Nigerian Basketball Crisis: Federal Government Set’s Up Seven Man Reconciliation  Committee

Nigeria’s Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development has set a seven man committee to broker the crisis that has engulfed Nigeria basketball Federation

 

The  Seven Man  is a “Reconciliatory Committee for Nigeria Basketball Federation.”

 

 

The ministry in  a statement signed by it’s  Permanent Secretary Ismaila Abubakar,  mandated the committee to peep into the issues bothering on the contention of the parties that are laying claims of  the leadership of the federation.

 

The committee is further mandated to review other matters or areas of  conflict bedeviling the administration of the federation.

 

 

“Apart from amicably resolving the disagreements and disaffections within the basketball Federation of Nigeria, they are also to reposition the game for development in Nigeria.”

 

 

The members of the Reconciliatory Committee are:

Mr Seyilayo Ojo(chairman)

Alhaji Abba Abdullahi Yola(vice chairman)

Babs Ogunade(member)

Mukhtar Khaleeh(member)

Niyi Alebiosu(member)

Ikeddy Isiguzo(member) and

Dr(Mrs) Toyin Aluko(Secretary).
