NLO activates players scouting unit
The Nationwide League One, NLO has announced the activation of its scouring units to help expose potential players to the global market.
The league organizers in a letter dated 14th June ,2023, addressed to the state football associations said the unit is been activated to help ease national team recruitment exercise by the technical department of the national football federation.
The letter signed by the Chief Operating Officer, COO of the league, Shola Ogunowo disclosed that the unit would commence operations, during the 2023 edition of the NLO U-19 division 2 league expected to kick off, July 12th.
According to him, certified football scouts have been enlisted to help facilitate the exercise.
He added that the exercise would help the clubs showcase their players to NLO foreign partners.
Shola further stated that, the scouting unit will afford the clubs the chance to exploit the technological scouting method now available in the league to help them display their products before the global football market.
