NLO: Dromeda Sports Club unveils Mustapha Muhammad Sheikh a.k.a Rambo as Technical Adviser
Kano based Nationwide League One,. NLO side, Dromeda Sports Club has announced the appointment of Mustapha Muhammad Sheikh a.k.a Rambo to take charge of the technical affairs of the club.
Dromeida in a statement issued last weekend in Kano, said the new appointment is tied to the vision of the club to ascend through the ranks of Nigerian football,
Stating that “Dromeda Sports Club aims to reach the pinnacle of the game. Coach Rambo brings a wealth of experience and a track record of success, having led teams like Bukola Babes (now ABS FC) and Jigawa Golden Stars to promotion in the Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL).
“His extensive experience also extends to management with Sokoto United. In his early years, he was a professional player with the Jigawa Golden Stars.
“Coach Mustapha is known for his tactical acumen, and his unique coaching style promises to elevate our club’s performance on the field. Chairman Dr. Muhammad Auwal is committed to finalizing all contract agreements, with verbal agreements already in place. We anticipate a successful collaboration as we work together to bring Dromeda Sports Club to new heights.
“The addition of Coach Mustapha to our technical crew will strengthen our team and support our business development efforts. We are gearing up for the 2023/24 Nationwide League One season, with a clear goal of achieving promotion to the Nigerian National League.
“We extend our gratitude to Allah for the achievements our team has accomplished, and we also express our appreciation to Coach Auwal Senior, who, as the interim coach, led the team through a remarkable 10-game unbeaten streak. In 15 games under his guidance, the team reached one final, one semi-final, and one quarter-final in the four competitions we are currently participating in. We wish Coach Auwal Senior every success as he transitions to the role of Assistant Coach alongside our new Technical Adviser.” The club statement said.
