Hajiya Aisha Garba the mother of former Super Eagles utility player, Garba Lawal is dead
Late Aisha passed away last Saturday, she was laid to rest in accordance to Muslim injunctions.
The President , Nigeria Football Federation , NFF Ibrahim Gusau has sent a high level football delegation to pay condolence visit to the residence of the 1996 Olympics football gold medal winner.
Gusau who was represented by the Secretary General of the federation, Sunusi Muhammad at the Lawal’s Bashama road, Tudun Wada quarters Kaduna residence , mourned late Aisha Garba.
He described the deceased as a caring mother, he then prayed Almighty Allah to forgive all her shortcomings and put her in Jannatil Firdausi.
Speaking on behalf of the family of the deceased, Garba Lawal MON thanked NFF President, board members of the federation and the Nigerian football family at large .
Top football dignitaries that accompanied the secretary general , during the visit were , the chairman technical and sponsorship committees, Sharif Rabi’u Ahlan, chairman Jigawa State football Association, Sabo Abdullahi amongst others.
