Qatar 2022: We are resolute in our support to football -NYC

Against the backdrop of Nigeria’s senior men national team, Super Eagles’ failure to secure one of the Africa’s tickets to the FIFA world cup tagged Qatar 2022, President, Nigerian Youth Congress, NYC, and Director of Youth Mobilization, Super Eagles Supporters Club, Blessing Akinlosotu says his organisation is resolute in its support to football activities in the country.
Akinlosotu made this known while reacting to his official confirmation as the Director of Youth Mobilization, Super Eagles Supporters Club which was preceded by a presentation of a meritorious award on him for the immense role he had played towards youths inclusion in the political space.
At the event organised in Abuja during the 2022 Miss Football Nigeria Organization’s Beauty Pageant and Soccer Ambassador Award, Akinlosotu emphasized that, as youth leader and for the passion of the country, he is committed to the course of the Super Eagles no matter the prevailing circumstances.
He continued that before the year runs out, the Super Eagles supporters Club which he presides over aims at mobilizing 50,000 Nigerian youths into the club through the 36 states of the federation where they all have their members.
“We have a blueprint for the club and we are pursuing it vigorously. Before the year runs out, we will mobilize over 500,000 Nigerian youths from the 36 states of the federation and FCT into our club”
The event was graced by many dignitaries including the President, Super Eagles Supporters Club, Prince Okumagba Vincent, Prof. Marcel Ezenwoye, Chartered Institute of Educational Practitioners, aUK, and a host of other stakeholders.
